Grand Canyon Hike Day 2

Hi Everyone!

Well we woke up that morning to the sight of the beautiful Canyon and decided to take a morning stroll around the campground we went over to the dorms by Phantom Ranch its like a mini town in the Canyon.

 Well after that we headed back to camp got our smaller day packs out which made me feel a lot lighter on my feet and packed up and headed past Phantom Ranch to the North Kaibab trail for a short bit then headed east on the Clear Creek Trail having yet another view of the beauty of the Canyon we decided to stop a little ways in for some Extreme Picnicking as Ryan calls it. Its really starting to catch on for me basically instead of bringing your own personal food you bring things like cheese sausage bread hummus dried fruit some beverages etc basically finger foods.  It's just natural food no energy bars and share with everyone  and once everyone gets there stuff out before you know it you have yourself a picnicking feast of various tasty snacks to choose from.  It's much funner heathier and more satisfying to your taste buds then just bringing a standard brown bag lunch or just energy bars. So after our picnic Jennifer headed back and Me and Ryan Trekked on further down the Clear Creek Trail for some more amazing views of the canyon we got to looking at all the different colors of Rock some more reddish or more brown color we got to a view point several miles away overlooking the canyon from yet another angle we could see Bright Angel Campground heres some shots of that amazing view!

Well we took a little break there and then decided to head back towards camp since more friends would be arriving this evening by the time we got back it was getting close to dusk after relaxing for a bit then Ryan's other friends arrived and we decided to head over to Phantom Ranch together for another night of fun games and socializing! 

As you can see in the pic it gets very crowded in the Ranch we shared some drinks and had a lot of laughs. After that we headed out back to camp and chatted for a bit longer and we went out walking around someone decided at one point we should turn our head lights off at this point it was totally dark so we did lol I didn't really know where I was going but everyone else seemed to so I just followed along after that we went to the silver bridge and chatted for a bit longer then after that we headed back to camp to get some sleep all in all it was a great night! well thats it for day 2 thanks for reading!
