New Years in Flagstaff, AZ and 200k Bervet Ride

Hey Everyone!

Well while in Arizona I had the opportunity to do a few events the first one I did after getting back from the Grand Canyon was New Years in Flagstaff, AZ It was one fun trip we got the three Bromptons loaded up!
Then Me, Ryan and Jennifer headed for Flagstaff to check into the Grand Canyon International hostal Ryan and Jennifer got their own room and I checked into a group room with a few of Ryan's buddy's we had a lot of drinks dancing and laughs heres some pics!

The next morning we got checked out of the hostel and we got the Bromptons out and went for a ride around Flagstaff we stopped for some breakfast then did some more exploring then we headed back to Tempe!

Well a few days after getting back I was getting prepped for Saguaro Lake 200k Bervet I did some cargo loading Extreme Picnicking style with Ryan 2 nights before at the hot tub near his place.
The day of the Ride at about 7am we Arrived at Desert ridge mall to get signed in and do a pre-ride briefing before our full day of riding 128 miles and 6,000 ft of elevation gain!
After that we were off! But its not a race lol think of it as a long social ride its not about how quickly you finish its about how many miles you can go so you have to keep a good steady pace that you can keep up for hundreds of miles and I have to admit I am growing quite fond of it!

Well we made it to the half way point without too many problems Ryan's buddy mark had to stop cause he pulled a muscle so we waited up for him and before we knew it we were over half way done! here we are at subway the 72 mile mark!
After that Me, Mark and Ryan headed to the next stop Lake shore Restaurant at Mile 86 where we decided to take a min and check out the view!
After that we pedaled on for some more hill climbs and the stops were flying by when we were getting close to town the evening sky was amazing it was a very dark red just beautiful biking scenery! Before we knew it we made it back to the finish line after 11 hours of biking! The best thing about it like I said before is that we took our time at stops and rode at a good steady pace so after we were done I wasn't even that tired! Well i'm off to getting prepped for my Ride back home so i'll have to stop here hope you enjoyed this entry! Thanks for Reading!
